The select tool
The select tool is a standard cursor you can use to select one or more objects and move them around the board.

Open a template
Click this icon to search for new templates to apply to your board.
See our Cubetorial - Choose the right template, for instructions on the best way to research a new template.

Add text to your board
Add rich text elements to your board. Customize the size, font, and color of your text, or turn it into a hyperlink.

Add sticky notes
Add virtual sticky notes to your board and change the size, color, and font of each note.
Sticky notes work great for team meetings or feedback sessions where participants place on templates like the Affinity process, or Fishbone diagrams.

Add shapes
Add shapes to your board like rounded rectangles, circles, triangles, text shapes and more.

Connect objects
Use connect lines to visually draw connections between objects on screen like shapes, sticky notes, and text. Connection lines are perfect for designing flowcharts where connecting shapes needs to be done in a snap and with extreme precision.

Draw with the pen tool
Use the pen tool for freeform drawing with your cursor or stylus. Use the smart drawing button to draw freeform shapes that transform into computer-generated shapes.

Add comments
Add comments to your board to communicate with team members about important content. Reply and react to comments, and resolve action items.

Add frames, files, & integrations
Add a frame to your board and place templates and objects within them to give your content a viewing order. When you enter presentation mode, each frame will appear as one slide in chronological order.

Upload media to your board, such as videos, PDFs, images, and more straight from your device, or through cloud storage services like Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, and even Adobe Creative Cloud.

Integrations are called apps in Miro. Click the ellipses to add an app to your board. By default, apps like IconFinder, Kandban Board, and Charts enable you to add objects to your board in an instant. You can scroll down to browse more apps that help enhance your workflows by connecting tools like Asana, Figma, or Microsoft Teams.
